As a hand-printed screenprint the inspiration for ‘WREN’ came from my fascination with these characterful birds whilst strolling in the local woodlands near my home. The latin name for the wren is ‘Troglodytes troglodytes’ meaning ‘cave dweller’ due to its tendency to forage on forest floors and live in crevices, crannies and fallen trees.
Each print is individually signed and is part of an edition of just 18.
